Candles Represents Life

After dinner I watch the candles burn
The wind bellows through the window
I watch them struggle to stay alight
As the wicks drops on the table below

Some manage to survive the pressure
As the wind continues bellowing through
Others give up the strength to survive
And leave the others to pursue

The strongest lasts the longest
Or the one placed furthest from the pressure
Just like humans that are built the strongest
And are fortunate enough to live in leisure

So candle are made of particles
Just like us as human beings too
So what makes us think we’re different?
And have souls that keep on living through

Like candles we are given one chance at life
So we can’t afford to have regrets
Remember when you reach your death bed
It’s you’re mistakes that you will forget
